Four of our 12 birthday bracelets

What is a five elements bracelet? It’s a bracelet chosen around Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. Some carry one stone for each element. Ours start from your birth chart: we read which element it needs most, then match you to a bracelet built around those stones. Not sure which element you need? Find it from your birthday.

Which stones belong to each element?

Wood: growth, direction and beginnings

Green stones, such as prehnite and green aventurine.

Fire: warmth, presence and expression

Purple, pink and red stones, such as amethyst and rose quartz.

Earth: ground, trust and steadiness

Yellow and brown stones, such as tiger eye and golden rutilated quartz.

Metal: clarity, edges and resolve

White and clear stones, such as clear quartz and white quartz.

Water: flow, depth and intuition

Blue and black stones, such as lapis lazuli and aquamarine.

How do the five elements work together?

Wood feeds Fire, Fire makes Earth, Earth bears Metal, Metal holds Water, and Water grows Wood. Each element also keeps another in check. A chart is read through these relationships and the season you were born in, so equal amounts of all five aren’t the goal. Two people can need very different bracelets. See the method.

Our 12 birthday bracelets

These are ready-made designs in 12mm beads. Ten pair a lead element with a supporting one, and two use a single element throughout. Not sure which is yours? Studio reads your birthday for free and shows which stones your chart calls for.

Common questions

Do I need one stone for each element?

No. A chart usually needs one or two elements more than the others, so the bracelet leans toward those. If you’d like one of each anyway, build it yourself.

Is my element the one I should wear?

Not always. Your element is the one tied to your birth day. The bracelet follows the element your chart needs, which is often a different one. Read more about your element.

Do I need my birth time?

For a design read from your full chart, yes. If you don’t know it, start from what you need instead.

Can I choose the stones myself?

Yes. Build it yourself, bead by bead, or choose a finished bracelet.
