The stone, in its own words
My pale blue is trace iron, caught in beryl as I grew — emerald’s mineral family, wearing the sea’s colours instead. Most aquamarine is cut small; these beads are 16mm, exceptionally large for this stone, and they sit cool and definite on the wrist. People put me on for the conversation they’ve been putting off — I won’t warm the argument up.

Pale sea-blue, small clouds, light that travels a long way in — beryl grown slowly in the ground, nothing added later. Sixteen millimetres is a lot of window for a stone this quiet.
A stone bracelet shouldn’t live in a drawer. At 16mm these beads are exceptionally large for aquamarine — cool, smooth, heavier than the colour suggests. A Water stone that feels like one.
