Kunzite deserves a shaded place between wears, away from prolonged strong sunlight. Whichever pink you choose, take the bracelet off before swimming or exercise and keep it separate from harder jewelry.
Check the chosen strand’s size against your wrist; bead diameter tells you the scale of each bead. Find your wrist size →
Will sunlight make a kunzite bracelet fade?
GIA's kunzite care reference explains that extended exposure to heat or strong light can reduce its color. Both naturally colored and color-enhanced kunzite can fade, so protect the strand from prolonged exposure.
After wearing, return the bracelet to covered storage, such as a shaded drawer or pouch. Keep it off sunny windowsills and out of hot cars: a simple routine for protecting its soft pink-lilac color.
Is kunzite hard enough for everyday wear?
GIA gives kunzite a Mohs hardness of 6.5–7, but rates its toughness as poor. Cleavage means it can split along particular directions. A hard impact, excessive pressure or an abrupt temperature change can damage it. Resistance to scratching is different from resistance to breaking.
Remove the bracelet before exercise, manual work or activities where the beads could hit a desk edge, tools or heavy equipment. Protect the strand from both knocks to the beads and anything that could snag the cord.
How should I clean and store the whole bracelet?
GIA advises against steam and ultrasonic cleaning for kunzite. Its warm soapy-water guidance concerns the gemstone; for the complete elastic bracelet, use a gentle cloth wipe and keep the strand out of soaking water.
After wearing, wipe the strand gently with a soft cloth and store it away from heat, strong light and sharp contact. Remove it before showering or swimming, and keep household cleaners, solvents and heat treatments away from it. If dirt remains, ask us about cleaning. Our bracelet care guide covers the cord as well as the beads.

7mm describes a bead
The nominal bead diameter describes its scale. The recorded sample range is 7–7.4mm; natural bead dimensions vary slightly.
16cm is a wrist-size label
The 16cm figure is the supplier's wrist-size label, not a measured inner circumference. Measure your own wrist and compare it with the product's sizing information and your preferred fit.
Measure where you plan to wear the bracelet, then compare your measurement with the product’s sizing information. For help with the listed size and your preferred fit, ask about this 7mm option. Use the bead-diameter guide to compare bead scale separately from wrist measurements.

Material and treatment information
Our kunzite is not dyed or heated, as confirmed by Stone Whisper. Its natural pink-lilac shade varies gently between beads.
If treatment or origin is important to your choice, ask us for the product information available for this strand.
Would you like to explore a personal mix?
Kunzite’s soft pink-lilac suits a tender anniversary message, a new romance or a piece you choose for yourself. In crystal practice it carries affection, compassion and emotional openness. Let that meaning sit alongside your taste for delicate jewelry—and the gentle care this stone deserves. If you are still exploring pink or purple jewelry, compare our rose quartz options or look at our amethyst guide. They are separate materials with their own product and care information.
