In crystal tradition rose quartz means love, and the heart shape says it again for anyone who doesn't know the stone. This one is polished smooth, pale pink with cloudy white markings, and small enough to hold in a closed hand.

The story

In a 2001 study, researchers extracted tiny pink fibers from rose quartz collected at 29 locations. Those microscopic inclusions helped explain the familiar blush of massive rose quartz, showing that a soft color can hold a much smaller story inside.
