Start with the look you want to wear. Choose 13mm clear quartz for light passing through the beads, or 14mm white quartz for a softer, milky presence. Compare the complete strands below, then find your fit.

Choose your bead scale and fit

These are two bold bead styles: 13mm clear quartz for a luminous, see-through presence, or 14mm white quartz for a fuller milky accent. Both listings use an approximate 17.5cm inner circumference as a reference. Check the current product details alongside your wrist measurement and the room you like beside a watch or sleeve.

Measure where you want to wear the bracelet, then choose the finished fit you prefer. If you are exploring a finer personal design, compare the smaller bead scales in our Studio bead-size guide.

A little brightness, chosen for them.

Start with the jewelry they already reach for. Clear quartz brings a luminous, see-through detail beside colored stones or metal. White quartz gives the wrist a softer, more continuous milky accent. Both are substantial bead styles: choose the look they would enjoy wearing.

For a new chapter, a birthday or a thoughtful thank-you, add a few words of your own: “A little brightness, chosen with you in mind.”

Each bracelet arrives in a Stone Whisper gift box with 20–40g of clear quartz chips for your own cleansing ritual. Before dispatch, we cleanse each bracelet with sage and clear quartz, ready for you to wear. See our cleansing and care guide for keeping that ritual part of your routine.

The character inside clear quartz

Gem-A describes rock crystal as transparent, colorless quartz and explains that it can enclose a variety of inclusions. Transparency and visible internal features are different parts of its appearance.

Our clear-quartz strand is presented with high clarity and faint veil-like details. Our white-quartz option has a more milk-white, softly translucent appearance. Look at several beads rather than treating one especially clear close-up as the standard for every bead.

For a see-through detail beside colored jewelry, explore the clear option. For a more continuous soft-white presence, choose the milky look. Your favorite is the one that suits how you wear it.

Does cloudy quartz mean phantom quartz?

Not necessarily. A cloudy patch describes an appearance. A phantom is an outline of an earlier crystal inside the quartz. In a GIA study, minerals marked older crystal faces, then further quartz growth enclosed them.

A phantom pattern is a specific internal feature, so ask us about the available material information if that is central to your choice. Compare the luminous look of clear quartz with the softer appearance of white quartz.

Can a photograph tell me whether it is quartz or glass?

A product photograph helps you choose an appearance. It cannot confirm natural origin or identify a material by itself. Gem-A also discusses laboratory-grown quartz, so clarity alone cannot distinguish natural quartz from a grown equivalent.

Our clear quartz and white quartz bracelets are not dyed or heated, as confirmed by Stone Whisper. Choose transparent sparkle or a softer milky finish, then compare their different bead sizes and fit.

We do not recommend scratching a bead, heating it or striking it as a home authenticity test. Those actions can damage the bracelet without answering the identification question. If you need a formal identification, seek a report covering the actual material.

Does a cool feel prove a quartz bracelet is real?

No. Feeling cool does not prove a bead is natural quartz, and feeling warm does not prove it is fake. Touch depends on heat moving between your skin and the object. The American Chemical Society explains this heat-transfer principle.

For the bracelet you are considering, check its material and treatment information. If you need formal identification, ask a qualified gemologist about testing the actual material.

Can clear quartz be combined with other stones?

It can give a mixed design a clear pause between stronger colors. Our rose quartz, amethyst and clear quartz example explains a particular arrangement and the role of each stone. Use the example to explore the amount of pink, purple and clear space you enjoy in your own design.

Can quartz beads chip even though they are hard?

Yes. GIA puts quartz at 7 on the Mohs scale. That describes resistance to scratching; it does not rate how well a bead survives a fall. Resistance to chipping and breaking is a different property, called toughness.

Protect the strand from hard knocks and store it separately from other jewelry. Cloudiness or a visible line alone cannot tell you whether a particular bead is damaged or sound. If a bead changes after an impact, stop wearing the strand and ask us about next steps. Read GIA's durability guide.

Keep its glow in your everyday routine

Wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Remove it before showering, swimming or work that could strike the beads or snag the elastic. Keep household chemicals and extreme heat away, and store it separately from jewelry that could rub against it.

Keep the complete bracelet dry when cleansing with your quartz chips. See our bracelet care guide for cleaning and storage.

Want the choice to begin with your own situation?

A finished bracelet lets you choose a particular material and bead scale. In Studio, you can instead begin with your own words: what matters now, who the gift is for, and any materials or appearance you enjoy. Need considers the whole request and shows the selected beads, their explanation and a quote. Share your material preferences, then review the stones and bead size returned for your own design. To select every bead, choose Builder.

Birth begins with your own birth details; Builder lets you arrange beads yourself. Your personal design has its own quote, shown for you to review before ordering.
