For a reading corner that feels like yours. One blue-and-gray lapis lazuli tower with a pointed top.
Give your blue a place on the shelf.
Crystal tradition connects lapis lazuli with wisdom and honest expression. Broad blue and gray markings run across this upright point; blue belongs to Water in our color-based five-element guide.
The story
The Met keeps an Akkadian lapis lazuli cylinder seal dated about 2350–2150 BCE. Such seals were rolled across clay to leave a mark of ownership or identity, making a small carved stone part of everyday record keeping.
Choose a question for the week.
Set the tower on a stable shelf beside your journal. Write down one question you want to think through, then return to it when you sit down to read.
