Lapis Lazuli Pocket Skull

For the days you want to choose what matters. A small blue lapis lazuli skull with carved eyes and teeth.

Make time for what matters.

In the memento mori tradition, skulls remind viewers that life is finite. This small carving gives that old symbol a rounded blue form, with recessed eyes and a clearly marked row of teeth.

The story

The British Museum's rock-crystal skull was once attributed to ancient Mexico. Analysis of its tool marks found rotary-wheel work inconsistent with pre-Hispanic manufacture.
