Studio Notes / Choosing a quartz bracelet
Look at the whole strand
Super Seven.
What does the name tell you?
Purple, smoky and clear detail in a substantial 14mm strand. Discover what the Super Seven trade name describes, then look across the whole bracelet for the mix of color and pattern that draws you in.
For our bracelet, Super Seven is the trade name for included quartz; it is not a seven-mineral analysis of each bead. Our supplier has not documented which of the minerals associated with that name are present in the actual strand. Choose it for the appearance you enjoy, with that distinction in mind.
Does every Super Seven bead contain seven minerals?
Super Seven is a trade name for included quartz. Our selection is offered for its varied color and internal detail; its individual inclusion minerals have not been identified. Choose it for the whole strand’s character.
You do not need to count seven colors or seven threads to decide whether you like the bracelet. A color zone is not itself proof of a distinct mineral. If a seller offers a list of minerals, ask whether it describes the general trade name or a tested specimen corresponding to the bracelet.
For our strand, Stone Whisper states that the material is not dyed or heated. We do not hold an independent inclusion inventory or treatment report for it. This guide does not fill those gaps with names guessed from a photograph.
What are the threads and patches inside quartz?
GIA's inclusion reference explains that gemstones can enclose solids, liquids and gases, and that gemologists study internal features with magnification and other physical evidence. A jewelry photograph is useful for appearance, but it does not perform that examination.
Our Super Seven presentation shows purple, smoky and clearer areas with fine thread-like detail. Look at how those features vary across the bracelet. A strand with uneven detail can be appealing if you enjoy a less uniform pattern; if you want one steady color, compare an amethyst bracelet instead.
Look across the whole strand: the mix of purple, smoky and clear tones, the generous bead scale and the natural detail that makes each bead individual.
Our Super Seven bracelet: 14mm

Would the larger bead scale suit you?
14mm is the nominal diameter of a bead. It does not describe a 14cm wrist. Consider how that scale would sit beneath your usual sleeve or next to a watch, then check the finished strand's reference sizing.
Our approximate 17.5cm inner-circumference reference comes from a 16-bead sample photograph and recorded bead dimensions. Natural bead sizes and batches vary. It is an estimate, not confirmation that it fits your wrist.
Measure your wrist and allow for the fit you prefer. If you want a finer purple option, our 8mm Uruguay amethyst offers a separate bead scale and material appearance. Compare each product's own sizing and current information.
What does the higher price tell me?
It tells you the price of the offered bracelet. It does not verify seven minerals, origin, rarity or a benefit. Compare the appearance, bead scale, sizing information and terms with what matters to you. Read our golden-rutilated-quartz guide if you also enjoy thread-like details in a different selection.
Care for the whole bracelet
Wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Remove it before showering, swimming or work that could strike the beads or snag the elastic. Keep household chemicals and extreme heat away, and store it separately from jewelry that could rub against it.
A quartz bead and an elastic cord have different care needs. Do not use a crystal-cleansing routine as permission to soak the complete bracelet. See our bracelet care guide for cleaning and storage.
Want the choice to begin with your own situation?
A finished bracelet lets you choose a particular material and bead scale. In Studio, you can instead begin with your own words: what matters now, who the gift is for, and any materials or appearance you enjoy. Need considers the whole request and shows the selected beads, their explanation and a quote. Share your material preferences, then review the stones and bead size returned for your own design. To select every bead, choose Builder.
Birth begins with your own birth details; Builder lets you arrange beads yourself. The finished-product prices above are separate from the quote for your personal design.
