These are two separate strands. The 6mm option has the larger listed wrist size, while the 8.5mm option has the larger beads. Choosing the more substantial bead does not mean choosing the roomier bracelet.

The wrist sizes are the sizes supplied for these strands, not new measurements of their inner circumference. Measure your wrist and compare it with the selected option. If you are between sizes or prefer a looser fit, ask us about the recorded size before ordering.

A name worth understanding
What does “strawberry quartz” mean?
It is a trade name rather than a tightly defined gemological category. A report in GIA’s Gems & Gemology, Fall 2021, printed page 282 describes a pink bangle submitted under that name to the Taiwan Union Lab of Gem Research. Its testing identified an aggregate of quartz with mica inclusions. The report also distinguishes it from quartz containing hematite. A familiar trade name does not, by itself, identify the inclusions in a particular bracelet.
Our two strands are sold under the supplier’s strawberry quartz name. We do not currently have an inclusion identification or treatment record for either strand. We therefore do not claim a particular inclusion mineral, verified origin or independently confirmed untreated status.

Strawberry quartz or rose quartz?
Start with the appearance you want. These strawberry quartz options have a warmer pink-to-reddish palette and speckled internal detail. Our rose quartz options offer a softer pink appearance in 8mm or 14mm beads. See the rose quartz comparison for those exact strands and their material notes.

Keep the routine simple.
Wipe gently with a soft cloth. Remove the bracelet before showering, swimming, exercise or cleaning with chemicals. Avoid prolonged soaking, hard knocks and stretching the elastic more than necessary. Store it separately from other jewelry.
