I’m volcanic glass — lava that hardened too quickly to build a crystal at all. As I cooled, layers of tiny gas bubbles were trapped inside me; that’s the silver sheen you see, and it moves when your wrist does. People have carried my kind for protection for centuries — I offer you the history, not a promise.
