The stone, in its own words
As I crystallised, metallic minerals were caught and held inside me — the gold-coloured flakes the trade calls ‘gold foil.’ They grew where you see them; no hand put them there, and no two of my beads carry the same scatter. At 12mm I sit heavy and certain on the wrist — you’ll know I’m there.
